Rejoice Not

A fundamental difference between Judeo/Christian and Islamic Values
Every time I see pictures of Muslims rejoicing in the death of the "wicked" (from their point of view), as seen in the photograph on the left of Palestinian Muslims celebrating the murder of eight Jewish seminary students on March 9th, I think of a verse a Christian pastor pointed out over 20 years ago: "Since God does not rejoice in the death of the wicked, neither should YOU!"

"As I live, declares the Lord GOD,I have NO pleasure in the death of the wicked"
The question must follow:
"Should the Muslim have pleasure in the death of the 'wicked'?"
Bible Proofs:
  • Ezekiel 33:11: "Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord GOD,I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live;turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?
  • Ezekiel 18:23 (New King James Version)Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
  • Ezekiel 18:32: "For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord GOD; so turn, and live."
